Job Summary:

The Support Engineer will be responsible for the continuous maintenance of our highly available analytical and data solutions, with a focus on building automated solutions to improve the support and reliability. This includes developing and maintaining automation related to daily tasks, integrations, migrations and environments.

The ideal candidate must have experience working as a system specialist or administrator and possess experience developing automation processes or has prior software development experience.

  • First line of technical contact for customers for various applications. Responsible for resolving technical issues for Snowflake, AzureDevOps, PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Manage numerous environments hosted on various cloud providers or in our data center
  • Responsible for resolving support tickets and working with cloud or SaaS vendors to resolve issues
  • Coordinate with offshore team in order to provide around the clock support to key systems, integrations and automations
  • Maintain solutions to improve code migration across environments
  • Manage the promotion of code using current techniques and tooling
  • Monitor system performance, stability, and usage to identify and implement improvements and help with capacity planning
  • Responsible for coordinating, managing and addressing vulnerabilities in numerous environments

Required Experience Skills:

  • Problem solver, capable to identify and resolve issues, being able to see the big picture
  • 2+ years of experience scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash
  • 1+ year of experience administering application environments
  • 1+ year of experience working directly with customers on issues or questions related to applications
  • Experience with code storage and promotion tools like GIT
  • Eager and willing to learn new technologies and skills
  • Experience working with ServiceNow in a support role
  • Experience in C# .Net is a plus
  • Experience with CI and CD tools is a plus
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau is a plus
  • Experience managing Linux/Unix environments is a plus
  • Experience migrating applications to Azure or AWS is a plus
  • Experience working with Azure Functions or other serverless technologies a big plus
  • Experience working with Kafka or similar streaming services is a plus
