The Marketing Data Analytics Specialist is designed to prioritize marketing and executive priorities to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position will curate data from multiple sources, with a focus on website and digital ad results from Facebook, Google, Bing, and so forth, for adhoc and recurring insight requests from leadership. Identified candidate will proactively automate routine/manual tasks, build and maintain dashboards.
This is an individual contributor role, which has high visibility and delivers business impact. The role requires the ability to listen to leaders, understand the business issues and develop innovative and practical solutions to address new business requirements. The role also requires the ability to understand what is important, simplify the problem to identify the key question which needs to be answered, develop appropriate analysis and algorithms, and deliver easily understood analysis. The Marketing Data Analytics Specialist will support all long-term and short-term planning, analysis and scenario modelling, and assist in establishing ease of use solutions. This position will work on expanding existing dashboard reporting, providing analysis and recommendations for future strategy, forecasting, and routine reporting.

Responsibilities
· Analyze daily performance to drive clarity on the primary drivers that cause variation in results from day to day.
· Prepare and present quantitative analyses ad-hoc, weekly, and monthly to influence peers as well as leadership.
· Own and lead analyses using data and insights to influence and support performance marketing strategy.
· Utilize data expertise to help scope A/B test opportunity size in order to drive test and prioritization to ensure team resources are deployed on the highest ROI initiatives.
· Conduct ad hoc investigations into different drivers of SEM performance and leverage analysis and insights to drive tests or future initiatives.
· Collaborate with 3rd party website agency partners to assist in implementations.
· Work tactically alongside the web dev team on key websites to implement, QA, and audit the appropriate tags and events using the consistent naming taxonomies and structures.
· Ability to build and modify new and existing Looker Studio dashboards
· Ability to configure and point data sources to Big Query
· Ability to implement data layer guides/website event tags a bonus
· Administer the company suite of Google products to provision and deprovision users
· Audit & maintaining enterprise naming taxonomies within GTM, GA, Looker, Big Query, etc.
· Set up new properties, containers, etc., across the enterprise
· Support global settings and configurations at the direction of strategic partners
· Perform scheduled user audits
Qualifications
· B.S. or higher in quantitative or computer science field or equivalent experience
· 3+ years of analytical and database experience
· Knowledge of tracking ad results from Facebook, Google Adwords, Bing, etc.
· Ability to perform a top-to-bottom audit of Google Analytics
· Skilled in Excel, Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Big Query
· Track record of demonstrating initiative and independent thinking
· Speed, resourcefulness and a go-getter demeanor. Moving quickly and executing to allow for continual iteration is a core qualification of our team
· Willingness to supply new insights and articulate them to a variety of partners and not just execute on existing ones
· Strong oral and written communication skills
